FLORINE ALBERTSON GRIFFITHS 1934~2009
Shelton IOWA
Oct. 17, 1934 to Jan. 8, 2009
Mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 8, 2009.
Florine was born to George and Virginia Albertson in Ottumwa, Iowa, on October 17, 1934.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James and both parents. She attended Central Kitsap Christian Church of Bremerton. Our mother was a homemaker who loved to sew, she was a church greeter and loved to cook for family and friends.
Our Mother is survived by her 5 daughters and 1 adopted son:Mary Barrett (Robert) - Shelton; Jane Park (Gene) - Port Angeles; Carol Davis (Tom) - Republic; Virginia Leggett - Bremerton; Diana Byrd (Lewis) - Salem, OR; Chris Griffiths - Port Angeles.
Florine is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Chuck Albertson (Aris); George Albertson (Beverly); Martin Albertson (Mariette); Rosemary Reilly; Margaret Bloomberg (Steve).
Mother was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Jan. 16, 2009. Visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Services from 10 to 11 a.m.
