Velma,

I probably do not have a lot of information you do not know, but there are a couple of things that might help others to assist you. First, it appears that, in Wapello county, Jennison is spelled JENISON (only 1 n). Purly Jenison is buried in Garrison Rock Cemetery in Agency Township. His tombstone says that he died on 20 May 1869 at the age of 79. Buried with him is Lucinda Jenison who died in 1856 aged 59.

Also, Wapello county marriage records show that Martha Jenison married James Davidson on 30 Dec 1863 not in 1864. There is another Jenison marriage at about the same time. Elmorett Jenison married James C. Ingalls on 10 Nov 1870.

Let me know if there is anything that I can look up for you.
