Ottumwa Courier Tuesday January 6, 1942 Mrs. WE Clements Dies. Agency-- Mrs. Rebecca Fair Clements, 90, long time resident of this community died at her home in Agency at 1:30 Monday. She had been ill several months. She was the daughter of John and Rebecca Fair and was born near Baltimore Maryland September 3, 1851. She came to Iowa with her parents when she was four years old. On October 8, 1871 she married Wilbur F Clements. After a five year residence in What Cheer, the family returned to Agency in 1876. Mrs. Clements resided here ever after. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur February 2, 1937 and by a son June 8,1937. She was a member of the Agency Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. W H Perdew who has resided with her for the last several years, and Mrs. Lorne Parks of Afton, a sister, eleven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Body has been taken to Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at Agency Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. Merton D Wyatt. Burial in Agency Cemetery.
