*James Matthew Phillips above was my G. Grandfather. He worked in the coal mines. His friends and family called him Matt.Their house was on the corner of Williard and Mary Street. It is still there! Their daughter Annie Phillips married James Aloysious Lanigan and lived at 446 S. Ward Street, not too far from her parents. My dad James Matthew Lanigan was born in this house on Ward Street. It is also still standing also!
