Clara Rowena Lerchie, 88, of Moulton died Monday, March 12, 1990 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Centerville. She was born on April 15, 1901 in Clark County, Missouri to Samuel and Belle Cross Harness. She was united in marriage in 1920 at Fort Madson(sp) to Harry Lerchie. She was a former Farmington and Van Buren County resident.
She was a member of the Moulton Christian Church, 50 year member of the Cultus Club, 50 year member of the Rebekahs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1950, five sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are a son, Harry (Hal) Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana; two daughters, Marilyn Daniels and Colleen Stanberry, both of Moulton; a brother, Guy Harness of Laramie, Wyoming; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 15, 1990 at 1 p.m. at Duley Funeral Home in Moulton with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Burial was in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton. Memorials may be given to the Moulton First Responders or the Moulton Christian Church.
