Paul Durham

Paul J. Durham, 39, of Eldon died November 18, 1989, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born Sept. 2, 1950, and adopted by Robert E. and Marie Wood Durham.

He graduated from Eldon High School in 1969. He was formerly employed by Big E Lumber Yard in Fairfield and Eldon Lumber Yard before retiring due to illness. He was a member of the Eldon Lions Club where he was a board member and a past church deacon.

He is survived by his mother of Eldon; and a sister, Marcia Weller of Douds.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1989 at the Eldon Christian Church, the Rev. John Walton officiating. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to the Eldon Christian Church or Eldon Rescue Unit.
