Keith Peterie

Keith Peterie, 66, Donnellson died at 11 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 1989 at Fort Madison Community Hospital. He had been stricken with an apparent heart attack at the Argyle Community Center a short time earlier.

Mr. Peterie was born December 20, 1922 at Farmington. He moved to Donnellson in 1957. He owned and operated a Mobil station in Donnellson. He was a member of the Donnellson United Methodist Church, George Washington Masonic Lodge of Donnellson, the Eagles Lodge of For Madison and the Ill-Ia-Mo Campers Club.

On June 6, 1946 in Donnellson, he married Anna Glasgow, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Michael of Fort Madison; two daughters, Mrs. Vic (Judy) Conlee, Donnellson, and Vickie Peterie, Fort Madison; a brother, Eston of Farmington; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were Bart and Ethel Harness Peterie.

Services were held Tuesday, December 12, 1989 at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson with Reverend Jim Turner officiating. Burial was in Evangelical Cemetery.

A memorial is being established with the Donnellson United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
