Faye M. Dawson

Faye M. Dawson, 98, rural Bonaparte, died at 8:34 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 1989 at Van Bure County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Mrs. Dawson was born October 25, 1890, at Bonaparte. She was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church and was a 50-year member of the Bonaparte chapter of the Order of Easter Star.

On April 14, 1920 in Farmington, she was married to Frank Dawson, who preceded her in death.

Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy Ann Dawson, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. Her parents were Elisha and Martha Ryland Miller.

Services were held Sunday, March 12, 1989 at the Bonaparte United Church with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in White Cemetery, Bonaparte.

The Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
