Lucille Taylor

Lucille V. Taylor, 72, of Birmingham died April 19, 1989, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

She was born April 12, 1917, in Van Buren County to Earl and Hazel Carl Filson. She had lived most of her life in Van Buren County and moved to Fairfield in 1978. She was a member of Birmingham Methodist Church, East Union Ladies Aid and Bonnett Community Club. She married Lawrence Taylor on March 16, 1940, in Birmingham. He died March 17, 1984.

She is survived by two sons, Larry of New London and Lloyd of Birmingham; two grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd, Raymond and Van Filson of Birmingham; and two sisters, Ruth Carter and Esther Cunningham of Douds.

The service was held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, April 22, 1989 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

Memorials have be(been) established to Birmingham's First Responders and Multiple Schlerosis.
