Marie Fellows

Former Keosauqua resident Lola Marie Fellows, 95, died Sept. 7, 1989, in Neodesha, Kansas.

She was born April 14, 1894, in Ruskin, Nebr. to William Martin and Ollie Jones Right. A former restaurant owner, she was a member of the First Christian Church. She had lived in the Neodesha area for 35 years. She married Jay Fellows in Ruskin, Neb. on Jan. 30, 1911.

She is survived by a daughter, Kaythryn Jones of Neodesha, Kan.; two sisters, Alma Hilton of Central City, Neb., and Verla Pedrotti of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 1989 in the First Christian Church in Neodesha. Loran Fawcett Funeral Home in Neodesha was in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 1989 at Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua, the Rev. Fred Malone officiating.

Memorials may be made to her church.
