Mary Story rite Wednesday

STOCKPORT - Mary A. Story, 80, former Stockport resident, died at 12:20 a.m. today, May 8, 1989, at Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham. Burial will be in Dibble Cemetery south of Stockport. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Story was born Sept. 17, 1908, at Utica, the daughter of James and Grace Kisling Pratt. She lived her life in the Utica-Stockport area until 1980 when she moved to the Country Lane Apartments in Keosauqua, and then to the Good Samaritan Center in 1984. She was a member of Utica Methodist Church and Utica Neighbors Club. She married J.C. "Red" Story Nov. 30, 1930, at Farmington. He died Dec. 23, 1988.

Surviving are three sons, Marvin of Stockport, Melvin of Birmingham, Delbert Eugene of Montezuma; a daughter, Zella Hummell of Festus, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Pratt of Fairfield; two sisters, June Barnett of Hillsboro and Ruth Clark of Stockport. A sister, Edith Parsons, preceded her in death.
