Edna Ruth Kennedy, 66, Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Montrose, died Friday, November 3, 1989 at Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Kennedy was born January 12, 1923 at Bonaparte. She had lived in Phoenix for 30 years. She was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Montrose Presbyterian Church.
On March 30, 1946, at Mojave, California she was married to James F. Kennedy, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Karl of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Karen) Weaver, Miami, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers. Her parents were John and Lulu Bennett Pfeifer.
Services were held Sunday, November 13, 1989 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery.
