James R. Easton

James R. Easton, 81, of Elgin, Ill., died March 22, 1988, in Elgin.

He was born May 13, 1906, in Fulton County, Mo. He was a printer with the Chicago Tribune for several years. He married Pauline Wandel. She died in 1951.

He is survived by a stepson, Jack O'Neal, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; three stepgrandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Richardson of Kimball, Neb.

Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, 1988 in Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton, the Rev. Ellis Andrews officiating.

Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
