Milo L. Merrick

Milo L. Merrick, 72, of Bullhead City, Arizona died in the early evening on January 1, 1988 in Canoga Park, California after a brief illness.

Mr. Merrick was born April 25, 1915 in Farmington, Iowa, the third of four sons born to Effie Larson Merrick and Samuel Merrick. He married Dorothy Munger December 29, 1940 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

After graduating from Farmington High School in 1932, he worked for the Commonwealth Edison Company in Chicago, and later for the Santa Fe Railroad. In 1946 he joined the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as a sales representative in the Los Angeles, California area. He resided in the San Fernando Valley from 1946 until 1978, at which time he moved to Bullhead City, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Linda Montgomery of Newbury Park, California and Barbara Phelps of Garberville, California; one brother, Vernon Merrick of Santa Rosa, California and two grandchildren.

Cremation and inurnment were conducted by Pierce Brothers Mortuary of Westlake Village, California. Private funeral services were to held in Arizona.
