Mrs. Alene Heston

Mrs. Alene Heston, 61, Gulfport, Mississippi died Sunday, March 27, 1988 in Gulfport.

A native of Sikeston, Missouri, Mrs. Heston had been a Coast resident for 19 years. She was an artist and president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Tolers. Shew as a member of the Magnolia Craftsman Guild, Gulf Coast Craftsman Guild and Beta Sigma Phi Soroity, Episilon Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, Jack D. Heston of Gulfport; a son, Donald E. Heston of Denver; her father, Sherman Acord of Andover, Illinois; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Botkins of Gulfport; two brothers, Merl Acord of Princeton, Iowa and Richard Abraham of Indiana; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Gulfport with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery. Riemann Funeal(err) Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Heston was a former Birmingham resident and her husband was born at Stockport.
