Michael Dale Coleman

Services for Michael Dale Coleman, 36, West Point, were held Wednesday, November 4, 1987 at the Sharon Presbyterian Church, rural Farmington. The Reverend Kenneth Harden officiated. Burial was in Vale Cemetery, Bonaparte.

Mr. Coleman died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, November 1, 1987 in an auto accident near West Point.

He was born May 14, 1951, at Fort Madison. He moved from Farmington to West Point two years ago. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church and of the Army Reserve.

On December 19, 1971, in Farmington, he married Sharon Watkins, who survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Marjorie McCarty Coleman, Hillsboro; a son, Wyatt Eugene, at home; a daughter, Amber Louise, at home; two brothers, Wesley Coleman, Aurora, Colorado and Randy Coleman, Fort Madison; two sisters, Diane Edwards, Anchorage, Alaska and Karen Welcher, Austin, Texas; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Francis McCarty, Burlington and Mrs. Bertha Coleman, Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Coleman, and his paternal grandfather.

A memorial is being established. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
