Ruth O. Groves

Ruth O. Groves, 86, formerly of Milton, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1987, in Whittier, Calif.

Born Feb. 17, 1901, in Oquawka, Ill., she was the daughter of George and Hattie Perkins Mills. She married Willis Groves. He died in 1973.

Surviving are one daughter, Maxine Higbee, Whittier, Calif.; one son, Dwight Groves, Sun City, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

A graveside service for Mrs. Groves will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, with Ed Pool officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, is in charge of arrangements.
