Mabel B. Habig

Funeral services for Mabel B. Habig, 90, Donnellson Care Center, formerly of Fort Madison, were held today, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. at King-Lynk Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Habig died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at the center. She had been seriously ill one week.

She was born Feb. 8, 1897, in Milton, Iowa. She was a member of Santa Fe United Methodist Church.

On April 13, 1919, at Pulaski, Iowa, she married Adolph Habig, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Charles Habig, Fort Madison; a daughter, Collen Douglas, Macomb; two half sisters, Leonola Rhinehart, Salem, Mo., and Edwena Simpson, St. Louis, Mo.; two step sisters, Mildred Mash and Geneva Helling, both of St. Louis; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, a half brother and three step brothers. Her parents were William and Nettie Cloat Roberts.
