Dorothy L. McBratney

Dorothy L. McBratney, 77, of Milton, died November 8, 1987, at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

She was born November 8, 1910, in Davis County to William J. and Mattie Craven Gould. A retired school teacher, she had taught in Milton for several years. She served on the Milton Public Library Board for several years and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She married Paul McBratney May 13, 1939, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Karen Huffman, Urbana, Ill.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Kays of Kennewick, Washington.

Services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Milton United Methodist Church, the Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Sunnyside Cemetery Association.
