Ruth O. Groves

Ruth Opal Groves, 86, formerly of Milton, died November 28, 1987 in Whittier, California.

She was born February 17, 1901 at Oquawka, Illinois, daughter of George and Hattie Perkins Mills.

She married Willis Groves who died in 1973. A son, Dwayne, died in 1985.

Surviving are a daughter, Maxine Higbee, Whittier, California; a son, Dwight, Sun City, California; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday, December 5, 1987 in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, with Ed Pool, Milton officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
