Terri Beth Holmes

Terri Beth Holmes, the daughter of Larry and Carolyn Worrell Holmes, was born October 24, 1969 at St. Mary's Hospital at Quincy, Illinois and passed away Monday, November 3, 1986 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois at the age of 17 years.

A junior at Clark County R-1 High School, Terri had been a cheerleader for three years, and was a member of the Future Homemakers of America. She was also a member of Assembly #52, Order of the Rainbow for Girls at Kahoka, and had been active in 4-H for six years, belonging to the Handy Helpers Club and then the Antioch Club.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle (Carolyn) Conger, her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Nancie) Holmes, all of Kahoka; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hilma Worrell, paternal grandparents, Harold and Willie Holmes, all of Kahoka; step-grandmother, Mrs. Zelma Conger of Kahoka and step-grandparents, Clair and Bertha McBride of Farmington, Iowa; two step-brothers Mike and John Bevans of Kahoka and a step-sister, Teresa Bevans of Kahoka. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elvin Worrell and step-grandfather, C.V. Conger.

Services were held Thursday, November 6, 1986 at the Kahoka Christian Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Harper officiating. Interment was in Kahoka Cemetery.
