Floyd L. Stanford

Floyd Leland Stanford, 80, of Milton Route 1 died Sept. 27, 1987, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

He was born Jan. 23, 1907, in Adrian, Minn. to Frederick and Francis Piper Stanford. He was a member of Milton United Methodist Church. He married Hazel Harman Sept. 14, 1957, in Milton.

He is survived by his wife; three stepdaughters, Crystal Andrews of St. Charles, Mo., Irene Pender of Highland, Ill., and Geraldine Elow of Ottumwa; 18 stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Leola Hyde of Bloomfield and Ione Stiegelmyer of Vinton; and a brother, Donald of Marion.

The service was held Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1987 at Milton United Methodist Church, the Rev. Harold Harryman and Andrew Rubenking officiating. Burial was in South Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Milton.
