PAUL (Smilie) PENROD

Paul (Smilie) Penrod, 64 died at the University Hospital, Iowa City, Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. as a result of serious burns he received on Mar. 20.

He is survived by his widow, Katherine, Milton, his mother, Maude Penrod, one sister, Pauline Lewis, both of Floris, and a brother, Gaylord Penrod of Oskaloosa.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Herb DeMello officiating.

The casket will not be opened. Wellborn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
