Mrs. Harper's Mother Dies

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. O.R. Junkins, 93, of Newport, Ore. She was the mother of Mrs. Paul Harper of Fairfield. She died Sunday in a nursing home in Newport.

Mrs. Junkins was born in Bonaparte, Iowa on Nov. 23, 1883, the daughter of Henry and Kate Cresap Humphryes. She and Mr. Junkins formerly lived in Fairfield. They marked their 71st wedding anniversary in November. He survives.

Also surviving besides her husband and Mrs. Harper are two sons, Hal Junkins of Tempe, Ariz., and George Junkins of Newport; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday in Newport, Ore.
