ALICE MILLER
Alice _. Miller, 83, of Birmingham died about 6 p.m. June 11, 1979 at Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua.
She was born Aug. 24, 1895, in Waterloo to Ashley adn Matilda Sohner Dunham. She married Albert C. Miller on June 23, 1936, at Waterloo. He died Oct. 23, 1968. She was a Birmingham High School English teacher for many years. She lived in Birmingham for more than 50 years. She was a member of Birmingham Free Methodist Church and Haney-Brannan Unit 181 of American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors: sons David and Maurice of Birmingham and Dale of Fairfield; daughters Lois Ruth Beswick and Merribelle Warner of Stockport; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Wayne Christian of Cerritos, Calif.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursay(sp) at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. John R. Cutler officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.
