OBITUARY

Mamie Esther Maar was born November 28, 1903 north of Traer, Iowa; daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Furry) Keller. She received her education in country school near Traer.

On October 15, 1931 she was united in marriage to James A. Maar at Toledo, Iowa. They made their home in Buckingham all their married life.

Mamie continued to reside there after James's death on January 26, 1991. In January of this year she moved to Sunrise Hill Care Center where her death came on Tuesday, February 20, 1996 at the age of 92 years.

She enjoyed flowers and house plants and was a member of the Traer United Methodist Church.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jamers, two brothers and one sister. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
