J. Kalsbeek, aged 72 died at his home in Orange City Last Saturday of lung fever. He had been confined to his bed for about two weeks. The funeral was held from the Frist Ref. church Monday of this week. Rev. J. A. De Spelder conducting the services.

Has the death notice of his wife, Sijke Blom, born Tzummarum, Neth. in 1822. In 1848 married Johannes Calsbeek. In 1882 they came to America. They had six children, her husband died in 1893. Children listed Jerome of Orange City, Peter of Bajum Neth., Mrs. T. Vander Laan, Mrs. G. Keiser of Carnes, Mrs. N. De Jong of Hopkins MI, and Aaltje of this city.
