Source Sioux County Iowa death records has Peter Hendricks married age 26 born about 1870 died 17 Apr 1896 Sioux County IA buried Sioux Center IA. He died of TB.

Found the family in the First Reformed Church book of Sioux Center, Peter Hendriks, with wife Heintje Schut had three children – Hendrik Jan 20 Apr 1892, Aaltje born 11 Oct 1897 and Adriaan born 13 Apr 1896 died 5 Jul 1896.

Translated: Saturady evening, not entirely unexpected, P. Hendriks died suddenlty as a result of consumption. The funeral was here from the Ref. Church yesterday afternoon. The deceased leaves a widow with three small children, the youngest of whom is two weeks old.

Translated: The sad news the Mr. P. Hendriks south west of here died only 26 years old. He leaves behind a wife with 3 children, and will be buried tomorrow. Rev. J. De Pree will lead the funeral.

In a family report on ancestry.com (by others) Adriaan Pieter Hendrick born 21 Feb 1870 Netherlands, son of Hendrik Hendriks 1832-1927 and Adriana Van de Hoef 1835-1889, married Heintje ‘Hattie’ Schut 1871-1918 and they had two children Henry John 1892-1985 and Ella Hendriks 1893-1983. (the 2 week old baby noted in the Apr 1896 paper must have died.)
