Waterman, Steven K, 72 of Lennox SE formerly of Hawarden, died Oct 6, 2021 Rapid City SD, of pneumonia caused by Covid 19.

Services will be determined at a later date.

Steven was born April 25, 1949, in Hawarden to Marv and Donna Waterman. He went to school in Hawarden. He very much enjoyed his life as a brother of 12. In 1967, he married Marge Jorgensen. To this union three children were born. Tony, Troy and Kim. After raising their children, the couple lived in Lennox, Deadwood and Spearfish.

Steven worked in construction. He was a Jaycee member in Lennox. He was a practical joker and could talk you into anything that came along. He always had a story and cherished the old days. He enjoyed listening to his 8 tracks.

Steven was uncle to 54 nephews and nieces. He loved his grandchildren. He was always there if someone needed his help. He was always building something and like to have his friends visit him in the Black Hills.

He so loved the Black Hills and the good things in life. He felt called on to find a place that will be just as nice for him and his family to rest for eternity.

He is survived by his wife and children: Tony of Tea SD, Troy of Worthing SD and Kim of Sioux Falls Sd; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson and a great granddaughter who died at birth.
