Died –Death has entered the household of Mr. G. H. Haverkamp, of Orange City, since the last issue of the Herald, Little Jacob Haverkamp is no more. Death robbed him from fond parents and loving sisters last Sunday night a week, after an illness of about two week’s duration. His disease was typhus malarial fever, a disease almost as fatal as diphtheria. The funeral took place from the Reformed church. The rEv Mr. A.Buursma preached the funeral sermon, and was one of deep feeling an solemn import. Poor little Jake, How well we remember the little fellow in his childish and happy moments, always having a pleasant word to passers by. But he has now departed for that home where sorrows are not know.
