Translated:
On Tuesday morning, the town was lamented to learn of a lingering death. A young mother, who turned thirty on Sunday, was suddenly taken away by death, leaving her young husband and six little children, the eldest seven years old and the youngest five months. The deceased is Mrs. Teunis Willemsteyn. Monday evening sun Mrs. Willemsteyn taking off the last of the wash while her husband went to the men's club; the eldest girl was a gentle mother’s helper.
When it happened no one can say for sure, but at a given moment the young woman was struck by a stroke and fell over over the washtub and hovered helplessly until her husband came home; the little child had not yet realized what a terrible thing had happened here. The doctors were summoned and the victim was put to bed. However, she was unable to speak again and fell asleep by four on Tuesday morning.
The funeral will take place on Friday at half past one at home and at two o'clock a service in the First Chr. Ref. church.

Obituary
Tuesday morning, March 22, it pleased the Lord to take away from our side my beloved wife and mother of the children, Adriana Willemsteyn-Visser, at the tender age of only thirty years. We are silent to God, His ways are unfathomable. We comfort the thought that our beloved dead wife is with her Savior.
We warmly thank the neighbors and friends who have helped us so faithfully in the difficult circumstances, and who have given us many expressions of sympathy. Also on behalf of the family, T. Willemsteyn and children.
