Monday at Doon passed away at the home of her son Jan Valentine, Mrs. K. Valentine, 83 years old. The old mother had been suffering from breast cancer years ago. She was operated on six years ago. The Cancer, however, was now so bad that the whole breast was raw. The elderly still remember the family. Two and twenty Years ago, the deceased became a widow. Mr. Valentine is buried here. The Sons Arie and Jan were at Sioux Center on Tuesday to see if it would not be possible for mother's remains to rest next to father in the Cemetery at Sioux Center. The funeral will take place on Thursday.
