Parents were Andries Wintel and Suutje van der Sluis. Marriage of Johannes van Dalfsen a Schipper born in Genemuiden age 27 married Elizabeth Wentel born at Bergumerdam Tietjerksteradeel age 20, he was the son of Lammert Jans Van Dalfsson and Trijntje van der Haar, they were married 1 Sep 1860 Genemuiden Overijssel, Netherlands.

Translated:
At the age of 77 years, Mrs. J. Van Dalfsen, mother of Mrs. E. Van der Berg. The old lady had been an invalid a while, being completely helpless from rheumatism. Her elderly husband, who survived her death, is also equally inflicted due to rheumatism. About a year ago a son of Le Mars was living with them, where by Mr. Van der Berg had the opportunity to nurse her parents lovingly. On Tuesday, after a service in the Chr Ref church, the body was buried. We offer our condolences to the aged wife and children.

Research note: From a family report on line (done by others) Johannis Willem Van Dalfsen born 14 Jul 1833 died 12 Nov 1917 Sioux Center, son of Lammert Jan Van Dalfsen and Trijntje Vander Haar, he married Elizabeth Wendel born 21 Jul 1840 Bergumerdam, Friesland, Netherlands, she died 20 Oct 1917 Sioux Center, Iowa.
Johannis and Elizabeth were the parents of children – Lambert 1861-1936, Sintiena 1864-1944, Trijntje 1866-1950, Dirkje 1870-1876, Andrew 1873-1952, Still born infant 1876-1876 and Jan 1882.
