In Memoriam
The women's mission Association of the Second Ref Church is dealing with the loss of one of their members: Mr. J. B Hyink - Nieuwenhuis, who entered the eternal rest on Jun 10, 1917, which is reserved for the people of God. As long as her strength allowed it, she was always a faithful and active member of our Association; not only doing something with her hands, but also always with us through financial support. As the mother of a numerous family and who have reached the age of 74 years and a few months, we can rightly say; She is resting in the Lord from her labors, her life being Christ, and her dying being gain.
Finally: That we express our heartfelt and heartfelt sorrow to the sorrowful children, and that we recommend them in prayer to Him, Whose doings alone are wisdom and love.

Her parents were Boudwyn Nieuwenhuis and Peteranella Reijnhoud. She married Jan Berend Hyink 1831-1901. Children listed were – William 1860, Gerrit 1962, Pieternella 1864, Everdena 1866, Boudwyn 1868, John 1870, James 1872, Henry 1874, Martin 1876, Elena 1879, Benjamin 1880, Nettie 1887.
