Monday morning a 3 years son of Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Van Dijk. The funeral was held Wednesday at Middleburg. Our sympathy with the tested parents.

1910 census yielded no family of Dirk Van Dijk, just a hired man born about 1873 living in Plato Tsp Sioux County.

No further information was found.
