Klaas Peters, north of town, died Friday afternoon at the age of 77 years, as a result of bilious disease. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. Wielenga of this city; Mrs. Dick Roos, Newkirk; Mrs. P. Sinkey and Ben Peters, Ireton; Gerrit Peters at Alton; Jake Peters at Rock Valley; and Hermina and Tena, who are at the paternal home. Funeral services were held at noon at the home and at 2 p.m., in the Christian Reformed church, by Rev. Beld of Middleburg.

Old gentleman Klaas Peters residing between here and Middleburg, died last Friday at the age of seventy-six years. He had formerly resided near Orange City but moved this way. The funeral was held Monday noon and interment at Orange City.
