Obituary:
On the 13th of Sept fell asleep, softly and calmly, in her Lord and Savior, our beloved and eldest daughters, Christina Bertha after a painful suffering of 4 months, at the age of 8 years, 8 months, and 10 days. The covenant promise, the determined faith in prayer, and that love to Jesus that she had, is our comfort. The parents, G. Gesink and E. Nijman and children.

Last week's Thursday, after several weeks of suffering, a 9-year-old girl of Mr. and Mrs. G. Gesink. The physical excess was taken from the First Rev. Church, carried to the grave under the direction of Rev. Van Wijk. We express our heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowful parents.
