Mrs. Wanda Zeutenhorst, age 86, of Orange City, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the Orange City Area Health System.

There will be a private family funeral service on Tuesday, January 26, at 2:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. The Revs. Michael and Elizabeth Hardeman will officiate. Interment will be at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Wanda Lee was born on September 14, 1934, in Alton, the daughter of William “Bill” and Genevieve “Toodie” (Kuyper) Starkenberg.

On June 27, 1952, she married Marvin Dean Zeutenhorst at the Alton Presbyterian Church. They made their home in Orange City, where they raised their three children, Dennis, Denise, and Deane. Wanda was a hard worker, having worked in the laundry department of the Heritage House Nursing Home, at Harkers, and Montgomery Ward, all in Orange City. She and Marvin were also custodians at the American Reformed Church, where they were members. She made many friends along the way and kept those friendships through the years. Marvin passed away on November 28, 2015, in Orange City, after more than 63 years of marriage.

Wanda enjoyed playing golf, cooking, mowing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Deane and Don Walburg, of Orange City; seven grandchildren, Justin Zeutenhorst, and his wife, Sheena; Jaime Zeutenhorst, and his wife, Paige; Travis Rozeboom, and his wife, Amy; Emily, and her husband, Dustin Shearer; Megan Walburg, and her boyfriend, Tim Van Veldhuizen; Tasha, and her husband, J.D. Stewart; and Colten Rozeboom, and his fiancé, Kellie; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parent and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Zeutenhorst; and a daughter and her husband, Denise and Vernon Rozeboom.
