Joseph Hilton died Saturday aged seventy nine. He was a native of Maine. He was twice married and leaves besides a widow three sons, Edgar and JOhn live near here and William in Wisconsin. The funeral was held Monday.
(From the 1925 census of Garfield Tsp Sioux County Edgar Hilton's parents were Joseph Hilton and Mary Smith. In the 1900 census Joseph was born Jan 1824 Maine wife was Caroline age 54 they had been married 16 yrs and one daughter Arville 12.)
