Mrs. H. (Actually G./Gerrit) Zeutenhorst died Saturday night after a long and painful illness. The family have the sympathy of the community.

(From the Records of the First Reformed church of Sioux Center Mrs. Gerrit Zeutenhorst age 63 died Feb 1, 1903 funeral by Rev. DePree and buried in the Sioux Center Cemetery. In the membership records her husband Gerrit Zeutenhorst born May 24, 1833 died Jul 6, 1912, he was first married to Alberdine Penterman and they had agt least 4 children. After she died he married Mrs. Berendina Vonk Boeyink and she had four children - Gezeina Boeyink born 1869, Jan Albert Boeyink born 1871, Janna Boeyink born 1874 and Hendrik Boeyink born 1877.)

In the early morning of last Sunday, the Lord took to Him my beloved wife, Berendina G. Oonk, to begin the eternal Sabbath with her Lord. She had reached the age of more than 63 years, of which we extended with the last 16 years in pleasant marriage. One son, married, and two daughters, are married, who had been left to her from a previous marriage, mourn with me this true loss; as well as my sons and a daughter from my previous marriage, for which she was a faithful mother during the time of our Association.
Long was her suffering; and in the last weeks also very heavy; but the Lord gave her grace to bear it patiently; and although with much controversy, she still had the hope that Jesus had called out God for her; It is finished.
Also on behalf of the children and Gerrit Zuetenhorst, We hereby express our thanks to all the friends who so cheerfully assisted her in her suffering, and who have assisted us in disconcertion, Sioux Center 6 Feb 1903.
