Milo M. Bedard, 69, of Hawarden was dead on arrival at a hospital in Hawarden Tuesday after being stricken at his home.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 12 in the Dow Funeral Home. The Rev. Samuel Abraham officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetary.
Family visitation was from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday m the funeral home.
Mr. Bedard was born Jan. 10, 1915, at Hawarden. He married, Evelyn Beauchene April 27, 1946, in Dakota City. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for 54 years. He was employed by L.G. Everist Sand and Gravel and Harkness Sand and Gravel, both of Hawarden. He was a lifelong resident except from 1955 until 1969 when he lived in California.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jeanette of Hawarden and Phyllis of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sons, Milo of Indianola, Harry "Gene"
of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Dean of Washington; five brothers, Robert, Richard, Frank, Jack and Harland Harry, all of Hawarden; 12 grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
