Death of Akron Pioneer
Wm. Van Buskirk, a long time resident of Akron and well known to many residents of this ommunity, passed away at Akron at 6:30 Sunday afternoon following an illness of about two years duration. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Akron at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon and the remains were shipped to Anamosa, Iowa, for interment. Mr. Van Buskirk never married. He was a brother of the late Frank Van Buskirk of Preston township, Plymouth county, who passed away suddenly a little over a year ago.
