Rein Faber

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the First Christian Ref. church for Rein Faber, 93, with Rev. J. B. Hulst officiating. Mr. Faber passed away Friday morning after four months hospitalization here. He was born at Bolswart, the Netherlands In 1889, and came to America at the age of 19. He was married to Wilemina Houtsma in 1902. They were the parents of 6 children, 4 of whom are living: Jennie (Mrs. Clarence) Van Gronigen of Orange City); Henrietta Faber of Baltimore, Md.; Florence (Mrs. Clarence) Jacobsma of Los Angeles, Calif. and Raymond Faber of Orange City. There are 5 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Proceeding in death are Mrs. Faber, 12 years ago, Nellie (Mrs.Ray Kraai), 4 years ago. An infant son died many years ago. Interment was made in the Orange City cemetery with the Van Etten Funeral service in charge.
