Employment: While he was in high school, he was employed by Klitgaard Construction Company. He later worked for a short time for Millard Lumber Company in Millard, NE, and then went to work for Union Pacific Railroad as a computer draftsman. Poor health caused him to retire.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, St. Leo Catholic Church, Omaha, NE. Enjoyed riding motorcycles, doing carpentry work and making furniture.
