Marriage: Alice Christine Petersen, October 20, 1943, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin, IA.

Employment: farmed near Irwin, IA. until he retired with wife in 1983, when they moved to Harlan. For the next 16 years, he worked for Farm Service Coop, as well as doing lawn care and snow removal until Feb. 2000, when his health no longer allowed him to work.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Irwin, IA, having served as treasurer and deacon for several years. He enjoyed collecting horse figurines.
