Survivors: Sons, Carlyle Larson and Norval (spouse, Linda) Larson, both of Harlan, IA; sisters, Evelyn (spouse, Ken) Nielsen and Darlene Rasmussen, both of Harlan, IA; former daughter-in-law, Sandy Larson of Harlan, IA; grandchildren, Brandon Larson of Harlan, IA, and Amber (spouse, Clint) Gardner of Defiance, IA; step-grandchildren, Chad (spouse, Molly) Harris and Kami (spouse, Mark) Burghardt, both of Gretna, NE, and Brent (spouse, Jennifer) Harris of Omaha, NE; 10 step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends

Military service: U.S. Army 1942 – 1945; served in European, African, and Middle Eastern Theaters; member of the 400th Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion.
Marriage: Edna Anna Olsen, Feb. 23, 1947, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, IA
Employment: Farming; Clarence and Edna spent their entire married life on the Larson family homestead
Hobbies/Interests: Member, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, IA; Member, VFW Post #941. In his younger years, he liked to take his wife and sisters to local dance halls to dance. He loved farming; was easy-going man who enjoyed being home. Clarence enjoyed going to the sale barn to see what the new market values were.
