Survived by: sons, John (spouse, Jane) Miller of Nashville, TN, and Todd (spouse, Debra) Miller of Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren, Anne Drue Anderson of Ojai, CA, Matthew Miller of Dallas, TX, and Tyler Miller of Nashville, TN; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends

Predeceased by: Parents, Andrew and Dora (nee Hill) Olsen; husband, Furman (deceased Aug. 19, 1993); brother, Torval Olsen; sisters, Edna Olsen and Gertrude Devine

Education: graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School; attended one year of college in Kansas

Marriage: Furman M. Miller, May 30, 1936, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Council Bluffs, IA

Employment: After leaving college, she worked for the Union Pacific Railroad; with spouse, in 1949 opened the Miller Insurance Agency, running the business until the mid-70s, when they retired.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Harlan, IA; supporter of the Harlan Community Library. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing Bridge.
