Looking for any information on a Gene Stamper. He is my Grandfather. His social security application has his birthplace as Clearfield , Iowa with Mothers name as May and Father as Frank. 1900 Census does have a Frank / May for Grant Township Ringold county along with 3 children two sons ( Gene and Len ) and a daughter ( Salene or Galene ). Any information would be helpful. Is there anyway for me to validate birth records in Clearfield from 1898 , 1900 timeframe? Thanks MJE
