My great grandmother was Rebecca Jarvis England. Franklin was born October 8, 1883 in Hawkins County, Ohio. Rebecca Jarvis was born in Hawkins County, Ohio, February 6, 1857. Her father was a bridge building, he built the first steel arch bridge in Rinagoed County.
Franklin and Rebecca were married January 1, 1875 in Ringoed County Iowa. They lived in a log cabin one year, then bought a 40 acre homestead where they lived until 1883 when they moved to the Dakota Homestead. Later he and son Edgar John operated a meat market n Forbes, ND until Frankline died on January 5, 1913. Rebecca made her home in Forbes until she moved to Ellendale, North Dakota in 1935. They had seven children: Emma (Mrs. John Griffith); Daisy (Mrs. Wm. Griffith); Anna (Mrs. Ernest Haberman, Sr.) (THIS IS MY GRANDMOTHER WHO MARRIED ERNEST HABERMAN) Susie (Mrs. Art Berry), Edgar John England; Madude (Mrs. Martin McShane) and Theresa (Mrs. Wm Gaughan). Franklin and Rebecca are buried in the Ellendale City Cemetery next to two of their daughters, Anna Marie Haberman and husband Ernest, Sr. Theresa Gaughan and husband Wm Gaughan and grandson Ernest Haberman, Jr.
