Pine, Elizabeth Bowman -
Elizabeth Pine of Mount Ayr passed away February 17, 1999 at the Clearview Home in Mt. Ayr. She was 84.
Mrs. Pine, the daughter of Elias B. and Mary Nole (Stone) Bowman was born August 19, 1914 in LaFolette, Tennessee. She graduated from Jacksboro
High School. She was united in marriage to Walter Everett Pine in Tennessee on November 4, 1944. She was a homemaker and member of the Methodist
Church. She grew up in Tennessee, and lived in Benton, Diagonal and Clearfield before moving to Mount Ayr in 1959.
She is survived by a son, Edward Pine of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and a sister, Helen (husband Audrin) Agee of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, a brother and five sisters.
Services were held February 20, 1999 at the Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr. The Rev. Michael
Druhl officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mt. Ayr.
